Video: Simon Murray’s Hibs Initiation Song is Pretty Funny

Simon Murray decided to sing The View for his Hibs initiation song – and it was pretty funny.

The striker made the move from Dundee United to the Hibees this summer and has already made his debut, scoring twice against Montrose in the Betfred Cup before playing against Ross County last night.

We think Murray had to do his initiation song before last night’s game in Dingwall as Hibs prepared in their hotel.

And now teammate Brian Graham has shared a video of Murray singing The View song Superstar Tradesman:

Murray is Dundee born and bred so it was only right he paid tribute to arguably the city’s best ever band.

Hibs drew 0-0 with Ross County in their Betfred Cup game last night, but were unable to get the win on penalties.

Michael Gardyne got the winning penalty, firing home after youngster Oli Shaw missed for Neil Lennon’s side.

But it won’t matter much in the grand scheme of things – the Premiership is the real focus for the Hibees this season.
