Terrible Rangers play gifted St Johnstone their winner in today’s friendly at Auchenhowie.
Pedro Caixinha’s men took on the Saints in their latest pre-season fixture at the club’s training ground, but weren’t able to get a win with Callum Hendry hitting the only goal of the game for the visitors.
The Portuguese boss spoke about his team’s lack of goals post-match, but he would have no doubt been angrier with the build-up to Hendry’s goal.
Rangers try to build out from the back, but Ben Alnwick’s clearance leads to a poor touch from Ryan Jack and Hendry produces a great lob to finish:
St Johnstone's goal today.

Caixinha will be hoping his team get their mistakes out of their system now as they continue preparations for the Premiership season kicking off at the start of next month.
Rangers exited the Europa League in their first tie after going down to Luxembourg minnows Progres Niederkorn and have had to organise friendlies at late notice to get ready for the new campaign.
