Aberdeen Fans Are Buzzing After the Club Confirms Stevie May Signing

Aberdeen confirmed the signing of Preston striker Stevie May on a four-year contract tonight – much to the delight of the club’s supporters.

Dons fans will remember May from his spell at St Johnstone – during which time he reached the Scottish Cup final in 2014.

However despite scoring 27 goals in 49 appearances during his final season at McDiarmid Park, May’s careers hasn’t exactly went according to plan since moving down south.

May struggled for minutes at Sheffield Wednesday, forcing him to leave for Preston in 2015.

But the frontman suffered even worse luck at Deepdale, after a horrific knee ligament injury ruled him out for an entire season.

The Pittodrie faithful aren’t ready to give up on May though, with the 24-year-old back to full fitness and with his best years still ahead of him:

Has Derek McInnes pulled off one of the signings of the summer?

Or are May’s best days behind him?
