Gabriel Paulista is no longer an Arsenal player, with the centre-back heading for a second stint in La Liga, and the club’s supporters seem genuinely upset about it.
The Brazilian arrived at the Emirates for a fee of £12 million back in 2015 after an impressive spell with Villarreal, and he looked like he could be a big player for the Gunners initially.

However, his form was never really consistent enough, and he was often accused of lacking concentration at key moments, and losing his temper in big matches.
Gabriel never materialised into the elite defender Gooners had hoped he might be, but the news that he’s signed for Valencia this afternoon – for a loss of nearly £2 million – has left a lot of supporters rather upset:
