Benjamin Mendy Sums Up How Manchester City Fans Feel About Kylian Mbappe

Benjamin Mendy summed up how Manchester City fans feel about Kylian Mbappe signing for the club.

The French striker shared a picture on Twitter earlier after meeting City and German winger Leroy Sane:

Given Mbappe has been linked incessantly with a move away from the Ligue 1 champions, City fans would have been delighted to see the striker sharing a picture with one of their players.

But when new signing Mendy, who joined from Monaco in a reported £52million move earlier this summer, responded in exactly the same way City fans did:

That is exactly how City fans are probably feeling right now.

Given Neymar just made a €222million move from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain, Monaco could demand close to £100million to let go of Mbappe.

But all the talk coming from the Ligue 1 champions suggest they won’t sell this summer.

They’ve already let Mendy, Bernardo Silva, Tiemoué Bakayoko and Valere Germain go this window and losing Mbappe would be a massive setback moving into the new campaign.
