The teams went head-to-head at the Vitality Stadium earlier and produced an entertaining game that was impacted by the decisions of Dean.
With the score level at 1-1 after Charlie Daniels’ opener for the hosts was cancelled out by Gabriel Jesus, the referee confirmed five minutes would be played as injury time just after giving both managers a talking to about their behaviour.
Because of that, more time than the five additional minutes was played – and it was in the 97th minute when Raheem Sterling hit City’s winner.
The added time was an issue for Bournemouth, but Dean also wrongly gave a foul against Lys Mousset for a tackle just seconds before Sterling’s goal.
Cherries fans and players were raging because it denied them a breakaway on goal, but seeing City score from it would have been even worse.
Former Premier League striker Zamora was watching on like the rest of us and didn’t hold back with his criticism of Dean:

Wonder how many players currently in the Premier League think the same?
Dean is never far away from controversy each season so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that he’s involved again today.
