Celtic Fans Are Very Keen on Jason Denayer Making a Return to Club

Celtic fans are very keen on Jason Denayer returning to the club before the end of the summer transfer window.

The Belgian defender spent a season on loan at the Hoops in 2014, forming a formidable partnership with Virgil van Dijk before returning to parent club Manchester City.

Despite doing enough to persuade some that he’d get an opportunity at the English Premier League giants, the centre back was shipped out on loan to Galatasaray before spending last term on loan with Sunderland.

It’s clear Denayer has no future at City – so he could make a return to Celtic before tomorrow’s transfer deadline, according to multiple reports.

And fans appear very keen about that happening:

Denayer won the PFA Young Player of the Year award during his time at Celtic and is obviously remembered fondly by supporters of the club.

But has he had his chance to sign for Celtic? Does he deserve another opportunity to play for the club?
