Liverpool Boss Jurgen Klopp Says Manchester City Are Title Favourites Ahead of Premier League Opening Weekend

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has doesn’t have too much faith in his own side by the sound of things.

The Anfield boss is getting in his final preparations ahead of the Premier League opening weekend.

The Reds take on Watford in a lunchtime kick-off on Saturday afternoon and many fans are feeling pretty hopeful after some great pre-season results as well as the addition of Mo Salah.

However, Klopp still believes his side will not be favourites for the league title as he opted for Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

The Reds boss says that Guardiola’s side played some ‘incredible’ football last year as they finished third in the league behind Chelsea and Totenham.

Klopp also admitted that he was taken aback when the Etihad outfit snapped up Gabriel Jesus and now believes the addition of Benhjamin Mendy and Kyle Walker will improve them even more.

Liverpool and City will first face off on September 9 with the Merseyside club heading to Manchester.
