Kris Commons Has a Cheeky Dig at Rangers Over Their Trophy Room

Kris Commons had a cheeky dig at Rangers after trying to visit the Ibrox trophy room yesterday.

The Scottish midfielder is currently without a club while he recovers from back surgery so is doing plenty of media work and looks to be forming part of Sky Sports’ SPFL coverage.

He’ll be part of their SPFL Matters show that broadcasts tonight and he’s teased on Instagram what fans will be able to see.

Posing next to Kris Boyd and Graham Dorrans, Commons says all three sat down together for a chat before the Celtic midfielder unsuccessfully tried to gain entry to the club’s trophy room.

But we think it’s more a bit of banter with Rangers fans rather than him seriously being denied entry:

Commons is obviously a Celtic favourite after spending six years at the club and it’s unlikely that he has many fans in the blue side of Glasgow.

SPFL Matters airs on Sky Sports Football tonight at 7pm.
