Liverpool kick off their 2017/18 Premier League campaign against Watford today.
Jurgen Klopp’s side head into the match on the back of a league campaign in which they finished fourth, securing their place in the Champions League play-off.
Reds fans will be hoping they can go one better this season as they look to secure their first Premier League title in 28 years.
One man they’ll be pinning a lot of hope on is Brazilian hitman Roberto Firmino.
The former Hoffenheim star has changed his squad number from 11 to 9 after the arrival of ex-Chelsea midfielder Mohamed Salah.
However, after it emerged that a large number of Liverpool fans had already bought this season’s new kit with ‘Firmino 11’ on the back, the 25-year-old promised to sign any shirts purchased with his old number on the back.
And the forward has kept that promise, as he signed shirts that had been sent in to the club.
