New English Season, Same Patter as #WengerOut Trends After 45 Minutes

New English Season, Same Patter as #WengerOut Trends After 45 Minutes

We’re into a new English football season – and already we’ve got #WengerOut trending on Twitter.

The 2017/18 Premier League campaign kicked off earlier tonight with Arsenal against Leicester at the Emirates.

And it’s not been short on entertainment, with both teams playing out a 2-2 draw going into half time.

Arsenal fans weren’t happy with their team blowing a one-goal lead to go behind to Leicester before Danny Welbeck’s equaliser just before the break.

They would have been raging to see Jamie Vardy make it 3-2 just 10 minutes into the second half.

So it should come as no surprise to see #WengerOut on Twitter – even if we were just 45 minutes into the new season:

Arsenal are still trailing 3-2 and heading for defeat on the first day of the Premier League season.

Considering the stick Wenger took throughout the majority of last season, it’s going to be tough for him to get the fans back on board if they don’t turn things around soon.
