Patrick Roberts’ First Tweet Since Returning to Celtic is Absolutely Brilliant

Patrick Roberts has finally returned to Celtic for the forthcoming season – and supporters will absolutely love his first tweet since coming back to Glasgow.

After several months of protracted negotiations with Roberts’ parent club Manchester City, the Hoops finally announced the England Under-20 winger would be returning for a second stint on-loan, following his hugely successful first spell.

The winger hasn’t actually used his Twitter account at all since June 11, but he seemed keen to show his 99,000 followers his delight at being part of Brendan Rodgers’ squad once again:

Given the intense and constant messages of love from Celtic fans whilst his future was up in the air, perhaps Roberts was just waiting for the right message to spring to mind.

He should be available for Celtic’s next competitive fixture on September 8 against Hamilton – with a glamour tie against PSG just a few days later.

What do you think of the signing, and Roberts’ reaction?
