Real Madrid Told Kylian Mbappe ‘Good Luck In Paris’ After His £200k-a-week Wage Demands

PSG swooped to land Kylian Mbappe after Real Madrid refused to meet his wage demands, according to reports.

The talented young French striker is close to completing his move after Monaco accepted an offer of around £160million.

It’s believed Mbappe’s desire to join Neymar at Paris Saint-Germain after the Brazilian’s £198million move from Barcelona last week was also a key factor.

Real Madrid chiefs had been in hot pursuit of Mbappe for most of the summer, but Qatari-backed PSG were able to lure the 18-year-old to the French capital.

And the Spanish media are reporting today that Mbappe wanted an astonishing £200,000 a week to join Madrid.

Journalist Hector Fernandez claims that Bernabeu bosses responded to Mbappe’s demands, saying: “Congratulations and good luck in Paris.”

Mbappe is expected to be unveiled as early as the weekend.

He will join fellow striker Neymar in forming one of Europe’s most formidable partnerships as PSG continue their chase for Champions League glory.

Earlier this week, a PSG fan changed every single screen in a Barcelona Apple store to an image of Neymar.

That came just after Neymar’s squad number for the Ligue 1 giants was confirmed.

Gianluigi Buffon blasted PSG’s massive valuationBut not everyone was impressed by Neymar’s world-record fee. Italian legend of the player, saying it sounded “fake”.
