Video: Brilliant Morata Assist Sets-Up Cesc Fabregas Goal Against Everton

Chelsea opened the scoring against Everton this afternoon thanks to Cesc Fabregas‘s first goal of the campaign – but most of the credit should go to Alvaro Morata for his exquisite assist.

The two Premier League sides clashed at Stamford Bridge this afternoon, in a game which wasn’t selected by Sky Sports as their televised early kick-off, and both teams went for the jugular from the outset.

Everton enjoyed several early half-chances but were made to pay in the 27th minute, when Morata’s sheer unstoppable persistence helped set-up his compatriot in-front of goal perfectly – leaving the Stamford Bridge crowd jumping for joy:

Morata will get a lot of the credit, but Fabregas’s deft finish wasn’t too shabby either, eh?

He’s not always been a first choice under Antonio Conte over the last year or so, but there’s absolutely no denying just how talented Fabregas is at his best.

What do you think of the goal?
