Video: Dominic Solanke Goal Shows Again How He Could Be Man to Lead Liverpool Line

Dominic Solanke has shown again how he could be the man to lead the line for Liverpool this season.

The English striker made the move to Anfield from Chelsea this summer hoping to get the first team football he wasn’t getting at Stamford Bridge.

And he’s shown in pre-season that he could be the man to start up front for Jurgen Klopp’s men in the new season.

Liverpool have added a number of players throughout the off-season, including Mohamed Salah and Andrew Robertson.

They already had a strong attack with Roberto Firmino, Daniel Sturridge and Sadio Mane all options.

But Solanke could be the tall, powerful number nine they’ve been crying out for – and his pre-season form has shown that.

He had two goals going into today’s friendly with Athletic Bilbao and grabbed his third with a strong header from a Ragnar Klavan cross:

That’s some quality striker play from Solanke against some quality opposition in Bilbao.

Liverpool fans – would you start him up front this season?
