Video: Happy to Stay? Alexis Sanchez Caught Kissing the Arsenal Badge

Before Neymar’s move to PSG burst on the scene, the future of Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez was the biggest transfer saga of the summer.

However, while the Brazil international’s move to Paris nears completion, it appears Sanchez may have performed an unlikely U-turn to stay at the Emirates.

Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Juventus have all been linked with a move for the 28-year-old after Arsenal failed to secure Champions League football last term.

Not that Sanchez’s head has turned with the speculation, in fact, the Chile international seems to have made a gesture which implies he is keen to stay in north London.

During Arsenal’s open training session at the Emirates this afternoon, Sanchez was spotted talking to team-mate Mesut Ozil, before he kissed the club badge:

Could this be the first real sign that Sanchez has been convinced by Arsene Wenger to stay at the club?

Or could the conversation between Sanchez and Ozil be put down to being a spur of the moment joke in training?

Arsenal take on Leicester City in their Premier League opener in eight days time.
