Video: Joe Garner Scores One and Martyn Waghorn Gets Two in Ipswich Win

Joe Garner got one goal and Martyn Waghorn scored two as Ipswich beat Millwall last night.

The former Rangers pair have hit the ground running at their new club after leaving Ibrox earlier this summer.

Garner’s time in Glasgow will be remembered more for the tune Gers fans chanted for him and last season’s attempt to get that Dave Clark Five song to the top of the music charts.

Waghorn won’t be remembered much better, with his lack of quality in big games a constant negative in the eyes of Rangers fans who were, on the most part, glad to see him moved on by Pedro Caixinha.

But if they struggled at Rangers, they’re having no such problems with Ipswich after making a ridiculous start to life there.

Garner scored in the opening day victory over Birmingham and followed that up with a goal in last night’s win at Millwall.

While Waghorn only signed on at Portman Road nine days ago, but already has three goals in three games – the latest coming in last night’s 4-3 victory.

You can see the highlights here:

If only Garner and Waghorn could show that kind of quality in front of goal while at Rangers.
