Marcus Rashford is Manchester United‘s impact sub this weekend after climbing off the bench to score their opener against Leicester City.
The English attacker was benched by Jose Mourinho for this evening’s game after failing to find the net in his first two games of the season.
Anthony Martial had instead got on the scoresheet, replacing Rashford in victories over West Ham and Swansea.
So it was only fair the Frenchman got his shot from the start in place of Rashford.
But that didn’t stop the United youngster getting the goal he’s been waiting for – as he was substituted on in the second half and wasted no time in breaking the deadlock:
That got United off and running in the game and they soon followed it up with a second goal courtesy of Marouane Fellaini.
They saw out the game for another three points, which will put them top of the league with nine points from the nine available so far this season.
