The Colombia Under-20 international arrived at Ibrox earlier this summer with an excellent scoring record at his previously club in Finland, but it’s definitely taken the 21-year-old time to adapt to Scottish football.
And Morelos really does look up to speed now, as the County defence found out this afternoon as he buried his first real sight at goal in impressive fashion.
After a nice bit of build-up play involving Niko Kranjcar and a brilliant cross from James Tavernier, Morelos still had a lot of work to do as he met the Englishman’s looping cross – but he somehow managed to generate enough power and precision in his header to leave the goalie looking helpless:
Not a bad finish, eh? That’s his fourth goal in his last four games.
What do you think of the goal, and Morelos as a player?
