Romelu Lukaku got his Premier League debut for Manchester United off to the perfect start.
The Belgian striker made the move from Everton to Old Trafford in a £75million deal earlier this summer and looked good in pre-season with his new teammates.
But today’s clash against West Ham has been the game everyone has been focusing on – and he’s got off to the perfect start with a first-half goal on his league debut for the club:

That’s a cool finish from Lukaku after some quality build-up from Marcus Rashford.
As far as starts go, it doesn’t get much better for the former Goodison Park frontman and he’ll be hoping it can kick United on to an opening weekend victory.
Rivals Chelsea and Liverpool both failed to win their opening weekend games and taking an early advantage in the league will be welcomed by Jose Mourinho.
It’s all looking good for United after recent seasons of disappointment in the Premier League.
