The Lithuanian midfielder was a surprise summer signing from Neil Lennon, joining the club from Juventus in July.
He’s formed a strong part of the Edinburgh side’s midfield so far in this early part of the season and it was no different this afternoon in Glasgow.
Slivka had a hand in James Tavernier’s own goal and then got on the scoresheet himself when he volleyed home from the edge of the box:

That is a very nice finish from Slivka for a goal that should put Hibs out of sight against 10-man Rangers.
Alfredo Morelos put the home side ahead early on in the game, but that was cancelled out by Simon Murray before Ryan Jack was sent off for his involvement in a bout of handbags in midfield.
Tavernier’s own goal soon followed and Slivka’s second-half volley all but confirmed the Hibees win.
