Amadou Haidara helped Red Bull Salzburg confirm their place in the Europa League group stages tonight, during a 4-0 win over Viitorul Constanța.
Salzburg were all but qualified heading into tonight’s clash at the Red Bull Arena, following a victory away from home last week.
And while there wasn’t too much pressure on Marco Rose’s side, his team looked impeccable ahead of tomorrow afternoon’s group stage draw.
The moment of the match, however, was when 19-year-old Amadou Haidara scored the final goal of the evening.
The Mali u21 star refused to give up on the ball as rolled toward the touchline, executing a sublime slide to retain possession.
Haidara then turns at the corner flag and proceeds to take the ball past three Viitorul defenders.
Even then, the youngster still finds himself on the edge of the box and drills the ball beyond goalkeeper Alexandru Buzbuchi.
A rising star we should all watch out for in the later rounds, perhaps?
