Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha has explained exactly what happened when he was involved in a spat with Celtic captain Scott Brown earlier today.

The pair had to be pulled apart after the half-time whistle sounded during this afternoon’s 2-0 victory for Celtic at the home of their bitter rivals, with Brown winning praise for his performance in midfield.

At the time, it seemed as though Caixinha was unhappy with Brown for using an elbow on his striker Alfredo Morelos and wanted the Hoops skipper to know exactly how angry he was with the challenge.

And the Portuguese coach has elaborated on the confrontation during his post-match interview with Sky Sports:

He definitely seems like he’s up for a fight and in this job for the long-haul – but what do you make of his comments?

Should the Rangers manager be confronting the Celtic captain in the manner he did?
