Celtic Fans Over the Moon as Brown and Simunovic Agree New Contracts

Celtic supporters are absolutely delighted this afternoon after the club revealed Scott Brown and Jozo Simunovic had both agreed new contracts to stay in Glasgow.

Having been a Hoops player for 10 years now, captain Brown’s future was never really in doubt, and he’s put pen-to-paper on a deal until 2019.

Simunovic has become something of a cult hero amongst Celtic fans but has been linked with various moves away from Brendan Rodgers’ side – most recently to Premier League clubs Burnley and Newcastle.

But the imposing Bosnian centre-back has committed his future too by signing a four-year contract, which will keep him at Parkhead until the summer of 2021 at least.

As you can imagine, with the mite of PSG waiting just around the corner, this is exactly the kind of reassuring news the Hoops fanbase needed:
