Everybody is Absolutely Hammering Theo Walcott’s Latest Arsenal Performance

Theo Walcott was reinstated to the Arsenal starting XI tonight but the England international’s display didn’t go down well at all with supporters.

The jet-heeled winger has seen his regular starting berth at the Emirates threatened recently following the arrival of Alexandre Lacazette and tonight’s Europa League tie at home to FC Koln was a perfect opportunity to remind Arsene Wenger of his worth.

After a chaotic start the evening, the game eventually got underway an hour late – but Walcott is probably wishing it had been cancelled.

The 28-year-old was constantly caught offside in the first-half, regularly gave the ball away and squandered the several chances he had in-front of goal.

He was eventually hooked and replaced with Reiss Nelson late in the match – and it looks like some Gooners won’t be looking forward to the next Theo Walcott display:

What do you think of the reaction? Was Walcott really that bad, and does he have an Arsenal future?
