Fantasy Football Managers Lose it Over Romelu Lukaku Injury Worries

Fantasy football managers are not enjoying the news that Romelu Lukaku could miss Manchester United‘s clash with Crystal Palace today through injury.

Rob Dawson of ESPN got word that the Belgian was struggling with a knock and is doubt for the Premier League game:

But Lukaku has turned up at the stadium for the game and everything points towards him being involved in some capacity this afternoon.

Given Lukaku has scored 10 goals in nine games for United this season, you can understand why some aren’t happy to see him potentially miss out.

And while United fans will no doubt be feeling the worst, fantasy football owners of Lukaku aren’t hiding their disappointment well:

United currently sit joint-top of the Premier League alongside rivals Manchester City, but could hold an advantage by the end of today if they win and City fail to win against Chelsea later this evening.

For the sanity of all fantasy football owners, we hope Lukaku plays against Palace.
