Jamie Carragher Brilliantly Uses Crystal Palace Drama to Troll Gary Neville

Jamie Carragher never wastes an opportunity to troll his pal Gary Neville, and the news surrounding today’s drama at Crystal Palace provided the Liverpool legend with the perfect opportunity to add to his collection.

As we’ve told you countless times in the past, the Sky Sports pundits are regularly swapping good-natured barbs both on Twitter and in person on Sky’s Monday Night Football show.

And after news earlier today that Palace have tapped Roy Hodgson to replace Frank de Boer as manager, Carragher was presented with an open goal.

Of course, Neville was Hodgson’s right-hand man during England’s disastrous Euro 2016 campaign last summer – but we can’t see Red Nev popping up at Selhurst Park any time soon:

To be fair, it definitely made us chuckle. Well played, Jamie.

What do you think of the merry-go-round situation at Palace, and will Hodgson save them from the dreaded drop?
