Could Liverpool fans have Being Liverpool part two to look forward to?
Supporters of the Anfield club got an all-access look into the inner workings of the club at the start of the 2012/13 season.
While it was an entertaining watch, produced by Fox Soccer and Channel 5, it led to the club and manager Brendan Rodgers becoming a bit of a joke online.
And that experience may make it difficult for Netflix or Amazon Prime to persuade some of the Premier League’s top clubs to get involved.
According to dailymail.co.uk, the streaming services have reached out to Liverpool as well as Chelsea and Manchester City to gauge interest.
All-access documentaries like Being Liverpool have proved very successful in American sports, with Hard Knocks and Last Chance U being two current examples of how it works.
But would there be an appetite from Reds fans to have the TV cameras back filming every part of the club as they chase success in England and in Europe? We’re not so sure.
