Liverpool’s Andy Robertson Pays Tribute to Celtic After Anderlecht Win

Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson has paid tribute to Celtic following the Hoops’ thumping 3-0 victory over Anderlecht in Belgium in the Champions League.

After losing their opening group fixture 5-0 to PSG a fortnight ago, the pressure was severely on Brendan Rodgers’ men to get some kind of positive result and display tonight.

And despite a slightly shaky start the truth is that Celtic pretty much strolled to victory over their opponents.

Goals from Leigh Griffiths, Patrick Roberts and Scott Sinclair sealed the club’s first away win in the competition since a 3-2 victory over Spartak Moscow back in 2012 – and it’s left Robertson delighted:

He might be a Liverpool player but he’s still a Celtic supporter at heart and he played for the club’s youth team as a young boy.

Judging by the affection he still has for the Hoops, would you bet against him pulling on the iconic green and white jersey at some point in the future?
