The Gers boss was helpless as his midfielder Windass was sent flying into him after a challenge with Lustig during today’s clash between the two arch rivals at Ibrox.
Thankfully, the Portuguese coach was uninjured, as was Windass, but their pride might be slightly hurt after the embarrassing tumble, and Lustig was keen to rub salt into the wounds by comparing the incident to a strike at bowling:
Lustig has become something of a Celtic cult hero in recent years for his celebrations after – and sometimes during – Hoops’ victories over Rangers.
It was a pretty brutal tackle – and surely the Old Firm match is the only fixture in world football where the manager requires a pair of shinguards?
What do you think of Lustig’s post, and the game in general?
