Nobody Can Believe Clarence Seedorf is Being Strongly Linked to Oldham

Clarence Seedorf is being strongly linked with the manager’s job at Oldham Athletic and pretty much nobody can believe it.

The former Holland, Real Madrid and AC Milan midfielder won the Champions League a record-breaking four different times with three different clubs during his glittering career, but now the 41-year-old is now being linked with a career change in vastly different surroundings.

According to the Daily Mirror, Seedorf is one of the front-runners to take over at Oldham after the exit of previous boss John Sheridan and the 41-year-old is apparently in Manchester for talks.

If he does take the job with the side currently sitting 23rd in League One, it won’t actually be his first job in management.

In fact, Seedorf had a short-lived spell as head coach at his beloved AC Milan back in 2014, before a short stint with Chinese club Shenzhen last year.

The San Siro to Boundary Park? You can see where people are having trouble:

What do you think of the rumours? How would Seedorf fare in English football?
