Nobody Can Understand Javier Hernandez’s New Position For West Ham Tonight

Javier Hernandez played his first match inside West Ham’s London Stadium this evening but a lot of supporters were baffled by the new position he’s been asked to play.

The scheming little Mexican is famous for his poaching ability inside the box, and at previous clubs Manchester United, Real Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen, the ‘Little Pea’ was known the world over as an out-and-out arch goalscorer.

But tonight, with Hammers boss Slaven Bilic reportedly fighting for his job against Huddersfield, Hernandez is being forced to play on the left-wing, apparently to make way for the return of Andy Carroll.

As you can probably imagine, the response to treating the ultimate goal-hanger like Ryan Giggs hasn’t gone down too well with fans on social media:

Personally, we have no idea what Bilic is thinking with this experiment either.

West Ham fans, we feel your pain.

Will Bilic still be West Ham manager this time next week?

Let us know in the comments section below…
