Patrick Roberts Shares Delight After Making Second Celtic Debut

Patrick Roberts has shared his delight after making his second Celtic debut.

The Manchester City winger returned to the Hoops on a season-long loan last week and was thrown straight back into the team by Brendan Rodgers for their trip to Hamilton last night.

His signing was met with a wave of optimism from Celtic fans, who took him to their hearts during a successful 18-month loan spell previously.

And Roberts didn’t disappoint on his second debut, putting in a man of the match performance as the champions beat Hamilton 4-1.

He looked delighted to be back in a Celtic shirt and shared his feelings on Twitter earlier:

Roberts could now be set to play against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

He wasn’t expected to be thrown in straight away last night, but the performance should give Rodgers serious thoughts about including him in that game.

Celtic fans – would you play him against PSG?
