Rangers Fans Reckon They’ve Found a New Hero in Alfredo Morelos

Rangers fans woke up this morning celebrating a new hero – after Alfredo Morelos continued his hot streak at Ibrox on Saturday afternoon.

Dundee were the Colombian’s latest victim, with Morelos bagging an impressive double in the 4-1 victory to take his personal total to 7 goals in his last 5 matches in all competitions.

Given Gers fans have been somewhat starved of top-quality players over the last three or four seasons, you can only imagine the excitement surrounding Morelos’s emergence as a potential new Ibrox star.

He might only be 21 but Morelos is already well on his way to smashing the 25-goal target in the Premiership this season – and some supporters are comparing him to Rangers greats of yesteryear:

Morelos has definitely been impressive in his opening few months in Glasgow, but is it a bit too soon to be getting all excited?

Or has he already shown enough ability to justify the hype?
