Real Madrid Star Luka Modric Booked For Counting 10 Yards From A Dortmund Freekick to the Wall

Real Madrid are currently leading Dortmund 2-1 in a result that leaves the German side’s hopes of qualifying for the Champions League last 16 in tatters.

Gareth Bale fired the away side in front with a well-taken goal in the first-half before Cristiano Ronaldo did what he does best as he netted on his 400th Real Madrid appearance.

However, the most bizarre moment of the game came when Luka Modric was shown a yellow card for counting the distance between the ball and the Madrid wall.

Dortmund were awarded a free-kick 30 yards from goal and the Croatian was visibly unhappy with the referee’s counting.

The former Tottenham ace decided to take the matter into his own hands, as he walked over to the ball and took 10 paces towards the Madrid wall.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang pulled one back for the home side but they will face a huge uphill battle should they fail to grab the win this evening.
