Sadio Mane Confronts Jamie Carragher Over His Red Card Comments

Jamie Carragher bumped into Liverpool‘s Sadio Mane this evening – and revealed the forward was none-to-pleased with Carragher’s take on his red card at Man City on Saturday.

In a hotly contested incident, Mane clattered into City goalkeeper Ederson, and was swiftly shown a straight red card by referee Jon Moss, with the goalie forcibly going off injured.

As one of Sky Sports’ leading pundits – and a Liverpool legend – Jamie Carragher’s thoughts on the matter would’ve been pretty interest to fans watching at home – and, of course, Mane himself.

The pair have obviously met previously and their brief gathering tonight at Anfield looked good natured, but Carragher was keen to point out that Mane didn’t go along with his punditry:

Sadio Mane looks like a person you’d really struggle to have a serious argument with – but, come on Sadio, it was definitely a red card.

What do you think?
