Sami Khedira has proved himself to be one of the nicest men in football by buying a massive amount of tickets for disadvantaged children for tonight’s Germany v Norway match.
The World Champions host their Scandinavian counterparts in their latest 2018 World Cup qualifier, with their status at next year’s tournament in Russia all but assured.
And with matters pretty much taken care of on the pitch, Juventus midfielder Khedira has turned his attention to matters off it and, according to Bleacher Report, the 30-year-old has went into his own pocket to supply 15 different children’s charities with around 1,200 briefs, ahead of tonight’s kick-off.
Khedira has been struggling with an injury recently, and missed Germany’s 2-1 victory over the Czech Republic at the weekend, but could be back in contention tonight.
The German’s could see their spot in Russia mathematically secured if they win and other results go their way this evening.
Not a bad gesture, eh? Nice work, Sami!
