Video: Danny Redmond Opens Scoring For Hamilton Inside a Minute

Danny Redmond needed less than a minute to open the scoring for Hamilton against Rangers tonight.

Despite Rangers’ recent issues on and off the pitch, Accies would have been expecting a tough test as the Glasgow giants visited New Douglas Park.

And they probably weren’t expecting to be 1-0 up after 56 seconds – with Redmond volleying into the net after some powerful play from Rakish Bingham:

That is not the start any of us expected.

Pedro Caixinha has been at the centre of a difficult week for Rangers following their 2-0 defeat to rivals Celtic at Ibrox last weekend.

He’s believed to have lost it with the homegrown players in the squad in a meeting at the beginning of the week and has since banished Kenny Miller from his squad over talk that he’s been leaking stories to the press.

Fortunately for Caixinha, Declan John scored twice before Daniel Candeias added a third to give them a 3-1 lead shortly after.
