Was Scott Brown lucky to avoid punishment for what looked like a kick on Giannis Skondras tonight?
The Celtic captain was caught up in an incident with the Hamilton defender towards the end of the second half in the game at New Douglas Park.
They collided with Brown taking Skondras to the ground with a heavy challenge.
But the BT Sport cameras and commentary team picked up on Brown’s left foot appearing to connect with Skondras’ face – and their verdict was that the Hoops skipper was lucky to get away with it.
What’s your view – did he do it deliberately?
The flash point is bound to be discussed more between fans and the media as Brown went on to play an important role as Celtic ran out comfortable 4-1 winners.
But would it have been as simple for the visitors had they gone down to 10 men before half-time? Possibly, as they were already leading at the time of the incident.
