Arsenal have taken an early lead against BATE Borisov tonight with Theo Walcott on the scoresheet.
Arsene Wenger has went for an experimental XI, featuring experienced internationals like Olivier Giroud and Per Mertesacker alongside academy products Joe Willock, Reiss Nelson and Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
And while it seems unlikely that the senior players in the side will have had a great deal of game-time with their young team-mates, it isn’t showing in Arsenal’s performance.
The Premier League side have started well, working the ball in and around BATE Borisov’s box with relative ease.
And it was from such a move that Arsenal took the lead, with Jack Wilshere showing his class with an incisive run and cross that found Walcott:

Arsenal have only lost one match so far this season, to Liverpool in the Premier League.
However, the Gunners are yet to dominate an opponent for a full 90 minutes – something Wenger will be looking to fix this evening.
