Video: Tomas Rosicky Scores 17 Minutes into First Sparta Prague Start in 17 Years

Arsenal fans will be delighted to know that midfielder Tomas Rosicky is doing just fine since leaving the club, after he scored just a matter of minutes into his second debut for Sparta Prague.

The scheming former Czech international left the Emirates in the summer of 2016 after his contract expired, and whilst his time in north London was blighted by injuries, there’s no doubting how much he was loved by supporters when he departed.

Playing for his boyhood club on Sunday, all of the treatment tables and operations would’ve seemed worthwhile, as Rosicky lived out a fantasy moment by scoring Sparta’s opening goal against Karvina.

The ball doesn’t look like it’ll come to him but when it does, he brilliantly keeps his composure, before wheeling off in celebration:

One start in 17 years and one goal? Not too bad a record, eh?

Regardless of who you support, it’s impossible not to like a player like Tomas Rosicky!
