Video: Watch Ex-Rangers Prodigy Billy Gilmour Score First Chelsea Goal v Arsenal

Former Rangers youngster Billy Gilmour got his new career at Chelsea off an running in style at the weekend, when he scored this tidy goal against Arsenal.

The talented teenager started for the Blues’ under-18 side for the first time since moving to Stamford Bridge from Ibrox during the summer transfer window, and he wasted no time in showcasing what he can do.

Chelsea ran out comfortable 2-0 winners against their London rivals, with Gilmour adding the icing to the cake with his sweetly-taken second.

For a lad of just 16, Gilmour’s talent definitely suggests he’s a player much older and more experienced than he actually is:

Happy to make my league debut in a 2-0 victory against Arsenal & too grab a goal🔵⚽️

What a hit, eh?

Clips like this must be quite difficult for Rangers fans to watch, but at least he’s still one of Scotland’s most promising talents.

So far at least, it looks like Gilmour has taken the move down south completely in his stride – could he be Chelsea’s next superstar?
