Aberdeen’s Kari Arnason Gets FIFA 18 FUT TOTW Spot After Iceland Heroics

Aberdeen‘s Kari Arnason has earned a FIFA 18 Ultimate Team Team of the Week spot after Iceland’s heroics earlier this week.

The Icelandic defender was part of the team that beat Kosovo 2-0 on Monday to secure World Cup qualification.

That achievement is being celebrated by everyone who loved Iceland’s performance at Euro 2016 and what the tiny nation brought to one of football’s biggest competitions.

And now Arnason has been rewarded with a Team of the Week upgrade after playing so well in both of Iceland’s qualifiers against Turkey and Kosovo.

Following on from Adam Rooney getting an IF card a week ago, the Aberdeen defender – who has struggled to make an impact at his club this season – has been upgraded from a 70 to a 78:

Unfortunately, Arnason’s 40 pace rating doesn’t get an upgrade – so he’ll no doubt still struggle with rapid attackers in the game.

But fans will be able to unpack him for the next week. We’re sure @talkingbawsFC will be happy at that news.
