Arjen Robben’s Summation of Carlo Ancelotti’s Bayern Reign is Absolutely Brutal

Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben has offered an absolutely scathing review of Carlo Ancelotti‘s time in charge of the club, claiming his son receives better training in the youth team.

Serial winner Ancelotti was shown the door after less than 18 months in charge last week, with the Bavarian giants sitting three points off the top of the Bundesliga and second in their Champions League group following the 3-0 defeat to PSG last week.

He did manage to win the German title last season but it seems the Italian coach didn’t win too many friends in Munich, or at least he failed to win over Robben.

The veteran Dutch winger gave his thoughts on the outgoing coach, via the Metro, and he didn’t hold back, keeping things short and sweet by saying:

“There’s better training at my son’s youth team [than under Ancelotti].”

At 33, Robben is one of the players Ancelotti had been leaving out from time to time, and it seems that really hasn’t gone down well with the former Chelsea and Real Madrid star.

But is he right to be so sneering? After all, Ancelotti has won the Champions League three different times as a coach.

What do you think?
