Borussia Dortmund Coach Doubts Youth Sensation Youssoufa Moukoko’s Age

Borussia Dortmund youth coach Timo Preus has cast some serious doubt over the age of sensational youth-team player Youssoufa Moukoko, who claims to be 12.

The young striker has been tipped to be a star of the future after managing a whopping 33 goals in just 15 matches at Under-15 level last season, and this season, at four years above his alleged own age level, Moukoko has bagged an incredible 16 goals in just seven matches.

Moukoko moved to Germany with the rest of his family from Cameroon back in 2014, and he’s already represented Germany at Under-16 level, but now BVB’s Under-23 manager Preus has thrown his future into serious doubt.

Speaking via the Mirror, Preus said: “With Youssoufa, I can imagine that his age has only been guessed.

“Maybe in reality he is one or two years older. But certainly he is not 17. For him that is very difficult. There is nothing to blame him for, the boy is not cheating or anything.”

We have absolutely no idea what age Moukoko really is, but he certainly looks like a pretty special footballer, and we wait with bated breath to see what comes of the bizarre situation.
