Harry Kane Responds to Real Madrid Rumours – And Spurs Fans Should be Worried

Harry Kane has given his thoughts on rumours that he could one day sign for Real Madrid, and we don’t reckon Spurs fans will be too happy with what their star striker had to say.

The 24-year-old is one of European football’s most in-form players at the moment after scoring a whopping 13 goals in the month of September alone – and showing absolutely no signs of slowing down.

His incredible scoring spree has seen his name mentioned alongside a potential mammoth move to Los Blancos, with a stunning figure of £177 million being quoted in the tabloids.

Kane signed a new deal at White Hart Lane in December 2016 which ties him down until 2022 at least, but when asked about the possibility of moving to the Spanish capital, he said via the Independent: “I would never say no or yes. You’d not rule out anything.

“I think in football, you never know and you never rule out anything.

“It is not something that I definitely want to do but it could happen. You just never know.

“Like you said, at the moment, I am very happy where I am here – that is all that matters. We will see what happens, but for now that is all I am focusing on.”

It might not be a ‘come and get me’ plea – but it definitely doesn’t sound as though Kane would be adverse to playing alongside Ronaldo and Bale one day.

What do you think?
