Jurgen Klopp’s side are currently in action against Manchester United, however, prior to kick-off all mention of the famous rivalry was dropped to pay tribute to Dalglish.
Liverpool celebrated the 66-year-old’s achievements yesterday as they unveiled the ‘Kenny Dalglish Stand’ – a fitting tribute to a Reds legend.

Whether Liverpool can continue the celebration on the pitch is a different matter though, with Jose Mourinho’s team in the midst of a frightening run of form domestically.
United are yet to lose this season, having picked up six victories and only one draw in their first seven games.
Meanwhile, Liverpool languish in seventh place in the table having struggled to show much consistency this term.
