Scotland Fans Are Very Keen on Ex-Italy Boss Cesare Prandelli as Manager

It seems a lot of Scotland supporters have their hearts set on Cesare Prandelli taking over as their national team manager, following reports the Italian is interested in the role.

The former Italy, Valencia and Roma boss is currently in charge of UAE side Al Nasr in the Gulf League but is reportedly interested in talking to the SFA about the vacant position.

The 60-year-old led the Italians to the final of the European Championships in 2012 before the lost 4-0 to a formidable Spain side, and the mere mention of Prandelli’s name seems to have fans on social media rather excited:

Previous Scotland manager Gordon Strachan was relieved of his duties last week after he failed to lead us to the playoffs for next year’s World Cup in Russia, and until now, David Moyes has been the bookmakers’ favourite to take over.

But could Prandelli be the sexy foreign appointment that could inject some excitement into the national side once again?

What do you think?
