Brown limped out of Celtic’s 3-0 win over Anderlecht in the Champions League last month while Armstrong was unable to come off the bench in the game due to a knock.
They were then ruled out of Scotland’s double header to end their World Cup qualifying campaign – a setback for Gordon Strachan’s men as they tried to secure a playoff spot.
Despite beating Slovakia, the Scots were unable to beat Slovenia after a tight 2-2 draw and you have to think what the outcome would have been had Brown and Armstrong been fit enough to be involved.
Anyway, now that Scotland’s international games are out of the way, attention will turn to the domestic football – and Celtic are back in action against Dundee on Saturday.
Judging by training pictures from today, both Brown and Armstrong could be set for involvement after recovering from their injuries:

That is a big boost for Celtic, who will play seven games over the next 22 days – including a Champions League double header against Bayern Munich.
