Kieran Tierney and Moussa Dembele will be back in Champions League action for Celtic tonight against Bayern Munich – and they’ll be under the watchful gaze of scouts from almost every English Premier League club.
The pair are two of European football’s most sought-after youngsters after a stunning campaign under Brendan Rodgers last season, and Tierney signed a new six-year deal with the Hoops only yesterday.
And according to the Mirror, a whopping 17 clubs will be represented by scouts at Parkhead this evening – with the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Spurs all linked with swooping for one, or both of the exciting duo.
With left-back such a problem position for so many of the continent’s elite teams, you can understand why Tierney is being closely looked at, and Dembele’s bristling talent has seen him named in France’s senior international squad for the matches against Wales and Belgium next month.
Either way, should Celtic fans be worried about such intense interest in their top stars?
